Matt Thomas
Executive DIRECTOR
Matt has served on staff at Cale as Interim, then Director, and now Executive Director starting in 2010! He and his wife Christy have 4 kids; Tyler (married to Briana), Kayli (married to Kaz), Erin, and Ellie. He has three grandchildren Jack, Hayes, and Palmer! Matt has been in vocational ministry for over 20 years.

Cale Impact: Matt loves the planning and details that go into summer camp, but really enjoys jumping into the middle of a game of "nine square" or "gaga."

Kayli Goodwin
Assistant Director
Kayli is our Assistant Director! She has worked here for over 7 years in various roles including Program Coordinator. She is married to Kaz Goodwin, whom she met here at Cale.

Erin Thomas
operations Director
Erin is our Operations Director! Before this, she served as the Operations Manager, Administrative Assistant, and other roles for over 5 years. Erin graduated from UNC in December of 2021.

Cale Impact: Erin loves answering questions about camp and sharing her experiences. She is excited to help ease the process of summer camp registration and answer any questions you may have!

Ashley Gregory
Campus Superintendent
Ashley serves as our Campus Superintendent! He has been volunteering at Cale for more than 10 years and excited to officially take on the role of Superintendent. Ashley has been married to his wife, Markie, for 16 years and they have 3 kids (Tyler, Blaire, and Emma).

Charlie
Camp Dog
Charlie is our official camp dog. He warms the hearts of our campers (and steals all the sticks). He has been our camp dog for 4 years. His favorite activity is swimming and drinking all the water in the process. He loves to hang out by the kitchen and collect the stray water bottles.
