Purpose

The Alpha and Omega Leadership Collaborative is designed for youth ages 14–17, providing them with the resources and opportunities to grow in wisdom, health, faith, and friendship. This program was established through the Ray Bryan Award from the Rye Foundation.

What it is

Participants—called Alphas—will attend a dedicated week during summer camp focused on leadership development. They'll have the opportunity to work alongside our camp staff, learning valuable skills and gaining hands-on experience. This program is designed to prepare them for future roles on summer staff.

To participate, campers must be 14–17 years old and display a growing Christian faith. Leadership lessons will be taught from a biblical perspective.

Ready to grow as a leader? Click the Register button above and be sure to select Alpha Week (not Youth Week—unless you’re interested in both)!

What your week will look like

Alpha Week: July 19 - July 24, 2026, takes place during Dragonfly Day Camp and gives participants the chance to actively put their leadership skills into practice! Alphas will assist with the day-to-day operations of camp, shadow staff, and help lead activities alongside our team.

Throughout the day—and especially after the day campers leave—Alphas will also enjoy:

  • Leadership devotions

  • Fun games & team-building activities

  • Time to connect with fellow participants

Schedule

  • Check-In: Sunday, July 19 | 4:00–5:00 PM

  • Check-Out: Friday, July 24 | 4:15–5:15 PM

Important Notes

Alphas are not regular campers—they are stepping into leadership roles with greater responsibility, helping support our programs while learning through hands-on experience.

That said, there will still be plenty of fun, community, and encouragement throughout the week!
